Petrol 95 · Add your assumptions to calculate
Start with your current price.
Complete all active fields with valid numbers. Price must be above zero, usage and stress cannot be negative, and your scenario price cannot be below zero.
Know your numbers
A scenario is a planning tool.
Monthly fuel volume × price per unit = monthly cost. Metric usage = kilometres × L/100 km ÷ 100. Imperial usage = miles ÷ miles per gallon. US and UK gallons differ: 1 US gallon = 3.785411784 litres; 1 UK gallon = 4.54609 litres. Currency formatting follows its standard decimal precision. Unit conversions retain up to 12 significant digits.
Use the result carefully
- Illustrative starting usage and a one-unit currency stress increase are editable assumptions, not forecasts.
- Enter a net price change. Do not deduct levy relief again if it is already included.
- The estimate holds usage constant and excludes tolls, maintenance, finance and other vehicle costs.
- Only the calculation runs in your browser. Your entered figures are not submitted or saved by this tool.
