I hope those people who put their lives in the hands of sangomas have learned a lesson recently. Some sangomas predicted that Bafana will take the world cup trophy. What I want to know is, which Bafana did they see in their bones? Because obviously the Bafana we know has not qualified for the next round. Sangomas are a shem and their art is full of deception. The society should stop turning to these witches for guidance and advice. They are Big Fat Liars!!

Dear Friends

I thank God for the grace given you in Christ Jesus. I write yet again just remind everyone of us to live a holy and acceptable life before the LORD of host knowing that our righteousness has been bought with a great price, even the blood of Jesus the Son of God.

Lets us leave behind all the ungodly habits and stick to the love of God who when all had failed gave us a gift of eternal life through faith in His one and only Son whom he did not withhold but gave him up as ransom for our sins and did not only let him die but he also raised him up so that he remains the firstborn from the dead, so that all those who believe in him will also rise on the day of his appearance in glory, since they have been sealed and given as a guarantee the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead and the same shall raise them up when the trumpet sounds .

I am therefore persuaded to never hold my peace but to proclaim to every soul that Jesus Christ is both Lord and savior of my life and since he is never a respecter of persons he is therefore the Lord and savior of all those who trust in His name. We should not be ignorant of the mysteries of God which have been revealed to the sons of men by the Spirit of God who works in us all who believe and whenever we hear His voice we should not harden our hearts as in the day when the children of Israel tested God through unbelief and thus swore by His name that they will never enter into His rest.

We all should understand that salvation is outside religion but is never without Christ. By this I mean that not a single religion in the world can save a soul but only Christ who came from God can save a soul that believe. As the scripture says “No man can lay another foundation apart from that which has been laid which is Christ Jesus” 1 Corinthian 3:11, so there is no other doctrine or system of beliefs that can make anyone acceptable to God except that which God has laid before the foundations of the earth which is His Son Jesus Christ.

Amen

Yours in Christ Jesus

Boorrowed from rapturewebsites.com

I always believed that the rapture or the return of the Lord will be a secret but when I read the verse that says,  "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord." (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). The bible tells us that the return of Christ will be noisy and glorious. True the bible says that  the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night. The Lord won’t come as a thief but the day of His coming will come as a thief. The event will not be secretive yet the timing of the event is a secret which is why we have to watch and pray until we witness the glory of His appearing as the bible says, " All eyes shall see Him"

There is no doubt that the Lord is coming back and His return would be joyous to those who have for ages been waiting patiently either in the graves or in life. We wait patiently, endearvouring to maintain the holy life to which God have afforded us over 2010 years ago through Christ Jesus and has sealed us with His Holy Spirit who dwells in us as a guarantee to our salvation on that great day. Due to the promise of that we shall see Him face to face and that we shall be like Him in His appearing and due to the hope of salvation we have in Christ, we purify ourselves for He Himself is pure.

Jesus spoke of the end times and judgement day  in Matthew 24 & 25. He pointed out that there would be rumours of wars, nation shall rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, there would famines, pestilences (deadly epidemic like, AIDS, N1H1 virus, bird flu and many other illnesses), and earthquakes in various places (like the 2004 tsunami that was triggered by underwater earthquake killing millions, and now in 2010 we are picking up the pieces of Haiti after two earthquakes had occurred claiming scores of thousands of lives). Jesus also mentioned that believers will be killed and many suffer tribulation for His sake and we see that happening in India and China today. False prophets will rise, (the likes of Sai Baba, Isaiah Shembe, Bhudda, Mary Baker, Joseph Smith and many more). Jesus went on to say that lawlessness will increase and as a result the love of many will grow cold. (We see lawlessness being officiated as legal or constitutional, like child abortion, homosexuality, and other belief systems that are rebellious against God’s word and so many Christians have grown cold in their love for God and others have compromised the gospel and have adopted ungodly lifestyles). All these are signs of that, the day of the Lord is around the corner.

And "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and glory. And he will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
(Mathew 24:29-31)

Are you ready for His return? His day is coming as a thief in the night and many of those who call themselves Christians and are not, will be caught with their pants down. Don’t be one of them…

God is not happy with  disobedience. Reading from 1 Kings 13:1-23 we see a man who was sent to prophesy in Bethel during the days of Jeroboam who reigned as king. The prophet spoke as God commanded and his words were confirmed with signs and wonders. When king Jeroboam stretched out his hand and commanded that the prophet be arrest because of the words he spoke, the hand of the king was dried out in such a manner that he could not draw it back. The king then asked the man of God to pray that his hand be restored and it was so.

The king invited the man of God into his own house for a meal and a reward but the man of God declined because the Lord had commanded him not to eat or drink from that place and neither shall he return home by the way with which he came.

All that the prophet had done was repeated by eye witnesses on the ears of the old local prophet. He then went after him on a donkey and found him sitting under an aok tree. The local prophet then confirm with him if he actually was the man of God who had prophesied in Judah and the man of God said, “yes, I am.” The local prophet persuaded him to return home with him so that he could have water to drink and bread to eat. The man of declined because the Lord had commanded him not to eat or drink in that land and neither shall he depart in a way by which he came.

The local prophet replied, “I also am a prophet and an angel appeared to me from the Lord and told me that you may eat and drink in my house.” The local prophet was is indeed lying to him. The man of God returned home with the local prophet and he drank and ate in his house. While they were yet eating, the word of the LORD came to the local prophet, saying to the man of God, “Because you have not obeyed the word of the LORD and have not kept the commandment which the LORD commanded you, but you came back and have eaten and drank in the place in which the LORD did say, “Eat no bread and drink no water” your carcass will not come to the grave of your fathers.

When the man of God had eaten and saddled the donkey, he went his way and a lion met him and killed him. The lion did not eat his corpse neither did it harm the donkey. The lion and the donkey stood by the corpse of the man of God.

As the people passed by they saw the lion and the donkey near the corpse and would ask what has happened, the local prophet came to the place and explained to the people that, ” it is the man of God who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD, therefore the LORD had delivered him to the lion which teared him and killed him according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him.

God punished disobedience because it is rooted on unbelief. It is impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6) and faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Disobedience comes by doubting God’s word and thus it is a sin and the wages of sin is death.

There is no excuse for disobedient. Everyone who disobeys is rewarded accordingly and there is no escape in saying “the devil made me do it”, you get punished for doing it and not for who made you do it. Adam tried that stunt by blaming Eve and Eve blamed the snake but that didn’t work out well. They all received a fair share of the punishment for each one’s disobedience, irrespective of who tempted who.

“Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.”
Hebrews 3:7-11 KJV

Many churches in this age are more focused on making business and on how to improve finances. Many bible teacher are teaching people on how to get blessings from God and to be able to claim the benefits in the Kingdom of God. Some are focused on  making sure that people, especially younger generation, are having fun in the church. There are many methods and belief systems that we see looming in the church today. The main question is, are there any people who are being saved? Are we as the body of Christ convincing enough for people to live a clean life before God?

Peter reminds us to live a  life that identifies us with God.  ” but as He who called you is holy,  you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy for I am holy.”” 2 Peter 1:15-16  and Paul also shows us that we should be the “imitators of God as dears children”  Ephesians 5:1 . God’s desire is that we be like Him. The whole point that we were justified by faith was to allow the Holy Spirit of God to dwell in us, since our bodies are His temple (I Corinthians 3:16; 6:19). If God is holy and His Spirit is holy then the place of His abode must be holy.  The fact that we were saved by grace does not condone sin, it does not give us license to sin( Romans 6: 1-3).  Being Holy means to be unique,  and separated for a specific purpose or service.  God has set us apart for His Spirit to dwell in us and that when we have been led by His Spirit we may live a life desired by Him.  Those who are led by the Spirit of God the same are the children of God (Romans 8:14). Living a holy life is all dependent upon being led by the Holy Spirit of God. No one can receive the Holy Spirit unless they have repented and have believed in Jesus Christ the Son of God ( see Acts 2: 38)

God has foreknown us and has predestined us to be conformed into the likeness of  His Son, and thus all the benefit of His Son are ours, if we live the life worthy of the sons of God as it is written, “Put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts.” Romans 13:14

We need to live the life which Christ would have lived if He were living amongst us today. As Christ Jesus died in our place so should we live in His place, for Him and through Him by the power of the Spirit that raised Him from the dead.

Let us seek to be Holy as often as possible as we can be in the sight of God since we have by grace and faith been saved and justified respectively.

Where are the people who stand by night before the Lord to seek His face and to worship Him? Where are those who swear by the name of Lord? Where are those who trust in the Lord with all that they posses? “The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal {perfect, complete, faithful, trustworthy, reliable} to Him…” 2Chronicles 16:9

God is not looking for those who are wearing smart clothes and speak in an orderly fashion and a manner worthy of kings, He is not really interested on how much you give to the poor, He is not interested on how beautiful or handsome you are (He knows that after all He made you). God’s interest is in your heart. Your heart is the throne room where all the orders and laws according to your will are erected. God gave you the will-power. The will-power is power to decide what you want and what you do not want. God is looking for those who are using their will power to acknowledge and to honor Him as the ruler of all hearts. People who are carrying out God’s word in relevance to Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” God seek those who understand that they only have to imitate Him and do as He says. Though He was equal with God, (John 1:1; Philippians 2:6) Jesus the Christ humbled Him-self, obeyed God to the point of death and remained loyal to the Father.

When Jesus was talking to a Samaritan woman, a subject of worship was brought into light and so Jesus declared “The hour is coming, and now is, When the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father ” John 4:23. My opinion of the true worship is the one you do when you are not in church but while you are living your life on daily basis. Your every breath, heartbeat, your speech, your movement, your thoughts and the rest of your activities should reflect glory to God. (Colossians 3:17 & 23) and the spiritual worship is what we see in Romans 8:12-17, Colossians 3:1-4, Ephesians 5:1 – 14 and Galatians 5:22-26 When Saul failed to obey God he was rejected to be king over Israel and was easily replaced by David. God told Samuel that (1 Samuel 16:1; Acts 13:22), he has provided Himself with a man after His own heart. David trusted God and that is why he managed to face the champion of the Philistines with only 5 stones, and a sling short. Many of us want spiritual things to happen and yet are not willing to live a spiritual and honest life before God.

God is looking for those who seek His Kingdom and His righteousness as in Matthew 6:33. Let us draw near to the Father of all spirits and give thanks, blessing and honor. Let us surrender all that we have to Him. God is looking for you…..
