I am very concerned about the Dewani case. We are certainly not judges (judicial officials) and I don’t see anything that qualifies us to decide that Dewani is guilty of arranging the murder of his wife. We can’t really rely on the word of desperate criminals who could had no problem shooting a person and probably they could have done this sort of thing many times before.
I would like to advise the public to allow the courts to decide if Dewani is really guilty, because honestly I have’nt heard of a single event that could be accepted as a motive. What we hear on the media are only mindless speculations which I doubt could be proven.
I am aware of that my language right now sounds like I am in defence of Dewani, I sure believe that there are always two side of a coin and I am accepting what Dewani has said, which is infact that He is innocent and now we have to allow the authorized bodies to prove whether he is actaully innocent or not.
On the other side, the way that Dewani is acting towards him being extradited to stand trial in South Africa is suspiciuos, which I believe any sane man would want this case over and done with. So if he really believed that he is innocent, he would have agreed to stand trial in South Africa to prove his innocence without any further delay.
What is my point then? Allow the courts to decide whether the man is guilty or not!!!
It is inevitable that we shall all die and we cannot change the fact that we are to go through judgment because scripture says, “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” The question that remains is, “are we ready for judgment?”
Looking at the bible, in Romans 3:23, we are given a very disturbing piece of information, stating that “…all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” This apparently telling us that we are all sinners and therefore unworthy of heaven. Again in 1 John 1:8 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” Furthermore, 1 John 3:8, “He that committeth sin is of the devil, for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil.”
So, we are being condemned by the word of God if we continue in sin. The worst of all these verses is found in Revelation 21:8, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderes, and whoremonger, and sorceres, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Oh, that is bad news, can it get any worse than this? Yes, the bible says “The wages of sin is death.” Roman 6:23a and “whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire” Revelation 20:15
Does this mean we have no hope at all? Not necessarily. You see the bible show s us a way to escape such painful end. Starting with John 3:16, 17 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.” I would like to note that the bible doesn’t say, God loved the Christians, it doesn’t say that God loved religous people or some race groups. The bible says God loved the world, meaning He loves every single person who lives in this planet. When God sent His son there were religious authorites but the were useless just like all modern religions are useless. Christ came not to start a religion but He came to “save that which was lost.” (Matthew 18:11)
Concerning our sin problem, this is what the word of God says, “for when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly…God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” (Roman 5:6-9) and so we hear that “there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1) and again “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away: behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
This is the hope we have and the grace of God have afforded us this gift of Salvation. We are saved by grace not by works (Ephesians 2:8,9)
Every word I have spoken and have written, about religion and the leaders thereof can be justified only when looked at from the pro-biblical perspective.
I am not fond of people who use the name of God to fulfill their lust for power and wealth at the expense of the poor and the needy. I am against the church leaders who do not lead by example, those who are all talk and no action. They put tradition way above the commands of God and they are devouring loosed woman and widows. I am against all false christs, Shembe, the Pope, Muhammed, Joseph Smith, just to name a few. These people have taken God’s glory and made it theirs. They have promoted Satanism and Luciferianism more than the ordinary satanist have.
Today the protestants have been silenced through bribery and are manipulated to preach about prosperity, unity of world religions, accepting other religious views, encouraging homosexuality and idolatry. Instead of the truth being told, we hear lies and entertaining sermons that challenge no one into walking in the fear of LORD.
I do not agree with the suggestion that Jesus is returning on the 21st of May 2011. I don’t see the point of working all your life looking for the date of Christ return when Jesus told his disciples that “…It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. ” Acts 1:7. We should be focusing on preaching and warning souls of the potential danger that might overtake them because it is stated in the bible that the day of the Lord is a surprise. No one knows the hour but only God and yet some group of experts have cracked the date? I am amazed! Even Peter confirms that the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night (2 Peter 3:10)
What is important right now is that Jesus said that we should wait because we do not know the day and the hour. So lets us wait!!!!
If by any chance Jesus does not return on the 21st of May 2011, this will qualify everyone who have predicted this date, as false prophets. It only takes on false prophecy to make a false prophet. God said, “When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.” Deuteronomy 18:22
Beware of false prophets and teachers who are busy preaching that which they have not been instructed by the Lord to do. These are enemies of the gospel. who care not about the unbelievers but driven by self righteousness and wickedness to lead the flocks of God astray. Jude warns. “Woe to them! For they walked in the way of Cain and abandoned themselves for the sake of gain to Balaam’s error and perished in Korah’s rebellion. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. ” Jude 1:11-13
Beware saints, not everyone who says “I am a christian” is actually a Christian and not everyone who carries and teach the bible actually obeys it or does what is written in it. beware of presumptuous doctrines and spirits which are not of God but are disguising themself under the name of faith, devouring the flock of the Most High. The time is coming where all these “shall give account before the Him who is ready to judge the dead and the living” 1 Peter 4:5
The antichrist is not someone who stands on the roof tops and shout ” I hate Christ” but it is he who sits at the temple of God, as God and saying ” I am God.” Se what Paul says, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God…And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. ” 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4; 10-12
Believe the truth, stay in the truth of God which was made manifest in Jesus Christ our Savior, read the bible for your self and test everything that is preached against the bible, even if preached by the greatest speakers in the world!!!! Be blessed
It is important that everyone should be saved because this is the will of God as Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 2:3-4 and as God spoke of old, saying “As surely as I live, says the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of wicked people.” Ezekiel 33:11a. No one shall escape the coming wrath of God unless they believe in the Son of God Jesus Christ as the bible says in the book of John 3:16, 36. It has been made clear that “all have sinned and they fall short of the glory of God” Roman 3:23, meaning everyone is bad and they don’t deserve heaven. Roman 6: 23 ” The wages of sin is death…” meaning due to sin we are owing to die. Before we kill ourselves though there is good news in the same verse, “…but the give of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord” and Romans 8:1 makes the news to even sound better, ” Therefore, there is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus”
Friends salvation is received by faith in Jesus Christ and not by good works . You may have your good works but if you are outside Christ you are just as bad enough as someone who is going to hell. You cannot save yourself with your own righteousness, that is why God made us his own righteous through Christ Jesus (2 Corinthian 5:21). One has to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead in order to be saved, see Romans 10:9-10. This is grace, something we did not earn through our efforts. Ephesians 2:8, says, “For by grace you have been saved, through faith , not by your efforts but it is the gift of God.”
Being saved by grace through faith doesn’t say that we shouldn’t do good works but it in terms of salvation, works are not good enough to produce salvation requirements. So, we received a gift from God so that we can do the good works not for salvation but for the love of God. The blood of Jesus paid for our salvation and we receive it by faith, not only are we saved by faith but we live also by faith (see Romans 1:17, Hebrews 10:38, Galatians 3:11)
James says, ” …faith without works is dead” (James 2:26). What is this then? Should we work for faith to salvation? No, we are saved by faith, then after being saved or justified we were sanctified or set apart for good works. Before salvation our works were dead, we could not be saved through our dead works since we ourselves were dead, therefore Christ gave us life so that we may produce fruits. See Ephesian 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” We are saved to produce good works or fruits of the spirit.
Just because we have been saved by faith, we cannot just sit in our churches and missions preaching to ourselves and sing “Praise the Lord, Siyakudumisa” but at the end we are found to have no fruits. Jesus says that He is the true vine and we are the branches. It was God who made us branches in that true vine but for us to remain in that vine we need to bear fruits, see what he says, “He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more…. Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned.” John 15:2, 5&6 NLT
If you are Christian, you need to bear fruits to remain in Christ and if you don’t you will be cut off and be cast into the lake of fire. If you are not a Christian, you need to believe in Christ before you can bear acceptable fruits or good works because Jesus Himself says “…Without me, you can nothing” John 15:5b, if not you will be cast into the lake of fire, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.
I am well aware that not a single person in this world wants to be judged. More often we confuse rebuke with judgment. Perhaps it would be better if I show the difference between the two.
Judgment points out the wrong that has been committed and decides on the severity of the punishment. It offers neither a second chance nor repentance. There is no repentance beyond the grave because the judgment is set. Rebuke points out the wrong that has been committed and unlike judgment, rebuke offers a chance to repent, with or no punishment.
In this wicked generation, many so-called Christians have gone soft and by soft I mean they are whiners, like babies they always want milk and do not advance to hard foods. When someone falls out of the way, he/she has to be corrected and these are directions we have from the Lord, ” Moreover if you brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother…” Matthew 18:15-17
The purpose of rebuke is not to humiliate but to gain the brother who is in danger of sinning. There are many stubborn people in our christian societies who by no chance take counsel from those who rebuke them. Such individuals, the bible tells to ignore them or treat them as one of the sinners and tax collectors only if they failed to hear or listen to 1 person, 2 or 3 people and the whole church. Rebuking someone is the bible principle. All rebukes and corrections must be done in godly love.
When someone tells you that you are wrong and are able to provide biblical proof of that you are wrong, as a child of God, then they are not judging you because if they were judging you, they would go like “what you are doing is wrong, therefore you will go to hell and suffer for eternity” and if they are rebuking you, They would go like “brother, according to the word of God, what you are doing is wrong. Repent lest you die in your sin”
When God uses the word “repent” or “turn away”, it shows us that God is giving you another chance to live. Here is a good example of God’s reproof “Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn [yourselves] from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.” Ezekiel 18:30-32 KJV, note that He doesn’t say I am judging you, but he say “I will judge you…Repent…so that you won’t be ruined by your iniquity.”
Folks, a soul that sins shall die and it is our responsibility not keep quite if someone we love is wrong, within the democracy or without the democracy, with rights or with no rights they must be made aware of that they are going astray. See what God says in Ezekiel 33:1-11. ” Once again a message came to me from the Lord: “Son of man, give your people this message: ‘When I bring an army against a country, the people of that land choose one of their own to be a watchman. When the watchman sees the enemy coming, he sounds the alarm to warn the people. Then if those who hear the alarm refuse to take action, it is their own fault if they die. They heard the alarm but ignored it, so the responsibility is theirs. If they had listened to the warning, they could have saved their lives. But if the watchman sees the enemy coming and doesn’t sound the alarm to warn the people, he is responsible for their captivity. They will die in their sins, but I will hold the watchman responsible for their deaths. Now, son of man, I am making you a watchman for the people of Israel. Therefore, listen to what I say and warn them for me. If I announce that some wicked people are sure to die and you fail to tell them to change their ways, then they will die in their sins, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths. But if you warn them to repent and they don’t repent, they will die in their sins, but you will have saved yourself.Son of man, give the people of Israel this message: You are saying, ‘Our sins are heavy upon us; we are wasting away! How can we survive?’As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of wicked people. I only want them to turn from their wicked ways so they can live. Turn! Turn from your wickedness, O people of Israel! Why should you die?” NLT
God says if we don’t tell people that they are wrong, they will die of their wrong doing but their blood will be on us. If your fellow christian sins, tell him or kiss heaven goodbye. I don’t want to be judged for not warning my brother of the dangers they are in. God says if you tell someone of their wrong doing and he refuse to hear you, you will save your soul, but that person will die for his own sin and his blood will also be on him.
I will tell you if you are wrong and I expect you to do the same for me!!!
