The gospel was mocked today!!!

Today I was preaching the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in front of the Main Library in Pietermaritzburg at about 11:15 GMT +2. Though it was raining, there were people who were standing round about me listening to the word of God!

I started off by pointing out the obvious, that the scholars from grade 1- 11 have collected their final examination results. Some of them passed and some failed. Those who passed the exams are rejoicing and are eager to share the results with friends and loved ones. Those who failed their exams are not so happy and are full of regrets.

“If you came to the examination room with the correct and relevant information to the individual exams you were taking, then I have no doubt that you are one of those who are rejoicing today” These are the words which were part of my introduction today in Church Street. I then pointed out that there is one more examination we all must take, as shown in 2 Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” and that we need the right information to pass that examination.

I had few group and one to one conversations with the students who were around and handed out some tracts. One group was mocking and questioning the bible until I learned that a number of them were members of the church of wickedness, commonly known as the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God. As soon as they volunteered their church information, the conversation went to another level and it drew few more people to come and listen.

I am not guilty of the blood of these people should they die and stand judgment. I warned them and offered them free gift of God which was made available to all men, women and children through faith in the Son of God Jesus Christ!!!

  1. Praise our Glorious King Jesus the Christ. Would have loved to have been out there with you today. Was ‘babysitting’ my grandson Cee-Jay, prayed for your labours and sent you an e-mail with the wording for the translation of the Gospel tract project we’re working on. Later brother 🙂
