What I am about to say might or might not start a war. I guess it will all depend on how everyone would take this discussion. I must state that whatever I am going to say is my opinion and you have a right not to take it seriously.
Religions of the world agree on one thing and that thing is to respect other people’s religions. Well, that is not biblical. The bible makes it clear that God despise idols and that He doesn’t want His people to make and worship idols. Christians are the only group of worshippers I know that criticize and are ready to die for disagreeing with others and long as they agree with God. I am saying if you’re religious, you’re not Christian and if you claim to follow Christ but remain religious and all traditional then you’re a Roman Catholic. The Roman Catholic Church and its associates is not Christian they are only supposed to be Christians but they are not.
Catholics are against God’s word in many ways. First of all they encourage ancestral worship which is not from God but from the kingdom of darkness. What was that??? Oh you say they are not doing that? Why then do they pray to Mary? What is it that they say? *Thinking*
“Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death.
And to Peter
“Thou art the Shepherd of the sheep, the Prince of the Apostles, unto thee were given the keys of the kingdom of heaven. “Thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my Church.” Raise us up, we beseech Thee, O Lord, by the apostolic assistance of blessed Peter, Thine Apostle; so that the weaker we are, the more mightily we may be helped by the power of his intercession; and that being perpetually defended by the same holy apostle, we may neither yield to any iniquity, nor be overcome by any adversity. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.”
And to John,
“I. O glorious Saint John the Baptist, greatest prophet among those born of woman, although thou wast sanctified in thy mother’s womb and didst lead a most innocent life, nevertheless it was thy will to retire into the wilderness, there to devote thyself to the practice of austerity and penance; obtain for us of thy Lord the grace to be wholly detached, at least in our hearts, from earthly goods, and to practice Christian mortification with interior recollection and with the spirit of holy prayer…”
This is absolutely unacceptable according to the word of God. We don’t pray to the dead and we don’t honor them. We pray to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ and not the name of the departed saints. Secondly, The Roman Catholic Church buildings are full of idols, like the rosary, the statues of dead saints and the statue of the hanging Christ (which is an insult because the Christ we know is no longer on the cross). On Christmas day, 2009 on SABC 3, I watched Catholic Christmas service led by the Pope (whose office does not appear in the Bible), they had a statue of the baby and there were children who came to offer gifts to the baby which was supposed to represent Christ. Catholicism is the most corrupt religion I have ever known. The office of the Pope itself is out of question.
You can now shoot me but it won’t change the fact that I have written this post….
